as a 5’8” 190lb slightly chubby woman, this does fit me, but my stomach is relatively flat. it is quite tight, so definitely works like a true corset, but elastic bunches up and isn’t quite large enough to cover the places you really want covered with a true corset. i.e my back fat LOL
