super soft, don't recommend taking off the side tag it left a little hole in mine but other than that it was great. It honestly doesn't effect any of my other clothes when I wash it. The shorts were super comfy and stretchy so that was a bonus too, the shorts were a little too short for my taste though. I would say it's a nice pair of PJ's :)
