Mine ran a bit big. but it’s still wearable. i wear a 9 in womens for reference. id probably still stick with the 40 though just in case. they look just as nice in the picture. the only other things is, the inside feels a bit like cloth instead of what most shoes feels like. and the front bends where your toes are when you walk a bit more than usual.
