I LOVE IT SO MUCH.
If I could compare it to anything, it feels like cotton-muslin fabric-- or if youre not familiar with fabrics-- the material that thin hippie/boho bags are made out of. Lightweight, sheer when held against a light, but soft.
it isn't sheer when wearing it and it's against your skin, don't worry!

This material was a little different than I expected. Its a thinner material that wrinkles very easily. I was expecting it to be more of a soft cotton/microfiber blend. This is straight up synthetic dollar fabric, but it is nicely made.
